Built around the operator
The logging desk.
xLog brings the logbook and the operating picture together. Contacts are saved locally first, with callsign history, confirmation status and station context close to the entry form.
Use the world map and band maps to follow activity, review previous contacts and keep award progress in view. Wavelog integration connects the local logbook with an existing online station log; connections and synchronization are configured explicitly.
There are two release lines. The native macOS 0.3.0 release remains the documented everyday version. The newer 1.4.5 Beta 1 has separate installers for Apple Silicon Mac, Windows x64 and Ubuntu amd64. Beta features and platform support should be assessed separately from the stable Mac application.
In the workspace
What you can do.
Local contact records
A persistent local logbook with QSO editing, previous-contact context and ADIF workflows.
An operating picture
World-map paths, classified spots and band maps keep activity beside the logging desk.
Wavelog connection
Two-way logbook synchronization with explicit service configuration and credential storage.
Award evidence
Worked and confirmed progress stays distinct from credit issued by an award sponsor.
Station integration
The native release works with xCat and xCluster. The newer beta develops the integrated station workflow.
